The pioneering A229 Pro dash cam is equipped with dual flagship SONY STARVIS 2 image sensors - IMX678 and IMX675. It simultaneously supports 4K 2160P resolution for the front camera and 2K 1440P for the rear camera, delivering smooth cinematic 4K and 2K image quality and ensuring effortless license plate reading and detail capturing, day or night.

The A229 Pro boasts Sony's premier STARVIS 2 IMX678 and IMX675 sensors, expertly combined with cutting-edge HDR technology. The wider dynamic expands the range of captured details, skillfully harmonizing highlights and shadows. This ensures precise license plate recognition, even during high-speed scenarios, for both front and rear recordings, and restores 4K-level details, ensuring the best night shots.

Supported by a buffering function, the camera will initiate automatic recording upon detecting moving objects. It will store the video footage for 15 seconds prior to and 30 seconds after the detected event. There are 3 parking modes - Auto Event Detection, Low Bitrate, and Time Lapse, offering flexibility in conserving SD card storage space.

The A229 Pro features loop recording, which means that as soon as the memory card reaches its storage capacity, the car camera will automatically replace the oldest video file with the most recent one. Furthermore, the built-in G-sensor can automatically lock the video when the camera detects shaking or collision to prevent important videos from being overwritten during loop recording.

A CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) is included and affixed to the front lens of the dashcam to effectively diminish reflections and glare from glass and road surfaces, resulting in a substantial enhancement of image quality and contrast in various scenarios.
